Why is Microsoft Windows Server Update Services not finding update after configuration of window server 2012? I recently install Microsoft Windows Server Update Services on a window 2012 server and configured the server through group policy to install update through the Microsoft Windows Server Update Services, but the WSUS is not finding any update. How can I fix the issue?

Hi, Juan!

Regarding your question about Windows Updates and the way you can fix it, is knowing this bellow:

 On Windows 7 and Windows Vista systems, the standard user has all the

needed permissions to use the Windows Update Application and install

updates selectively. On Windows XP systems,

on the contrary, the use of options will require that the logged on user on the Windows XP system is a

local administrator or you will need to enable the following – Allow nonadmins

to receive update notifications, so that a non-administrative user on a

Windows XP system can receive that is ready for installation.
