You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment”. I want to remove this error so I extremely need your help.

Hello Michael

Here is what I want you to do. First of all, locate Vbctrls.reg. It is on the CD from which you installed Microsoft Visual Basic. Double Click that file, and you will update the licenses for some controls that might .

If you are unable to find Vbctrls.reg, please search for Regsvr32.exe in your PC, and note it's patch ( C:Windows….).

After that, locate the .ocx file that you could not install (Graph32.ocx, KeySta32.ocx , etc) and note it's path too.

Click Start, go to Run, and type in <Path to RegSvr32>REGSVR32.EXE /u <Path to OCX>OCXFILE.OCX . Instead of Path to you will type the actual path of the files. If other OCX files are the ones that you can not install, then locate them, and repeat the Start- Run process changing the Path To.

Go to Control Panel, Uninstall a Program, select Visual Basic, and click AddRemove. Click Reinstall when the Dialog Box appears.

I hope you will find this information useful.
