Microsoft visio express error after reinstalling

I use Microsoft Visio Express in making diagrams for my presentation.  I recently upgraded to Windows 8 OS and reinstalled Visio.  When I launched Visio, it can't open the old files and hiving an error of "Visio internal error #-1 Action 1021: copy".  Is there a patch for this or do I have to install the latest version of Visio?

Hi Paine Thomass,

The problem you are facing is due to the fact that you have upgraded to Windows 8 OS and unfortunately there is no patch
available for Microsoft Visio which could resolve your error.  The only solution would be to uninstall the current version of Visio and then install the latest version IE Microsoft Visio 2010.
