Microsoft is on its way to launch its own tablet according to sources in New York Times. This will be tablet-friendly running in Windows 8 and is said to be put in the market to be at par with Apple's IPad. Do you think Microsoft can beat Apple's success in tablet sales?

Microsoft Tablet vs. Apple iPad?

After seeing the amazing revenue of Apple’s newest iPad, I wonder if any other organization can go with them. More than 3 thousand “iPad 3s” were marketed in their first weeks time, and large numbers more will be marketed by the end of the season. One calculate forecasts nearly $40 thousand this season.

I have not seen a specific malfunction of revenue lately, but I wonder if the relax of the competitors together can go with that. I’ve observed that Apple’s discuss of the item industry is about 70%. Samsung’s Universe Tab is second, but the relax are far, far behind.

It all depends on the market we will be looking at. On a consumer perspective, this will surely vary. People have different needs and preferences. But as these same consumers may use these tablets for work, they may also be a part of the enterprise market, and this, is the possible target of Microsoft. Together with the user-friendliness of the design of Microsoft’s Surface, comes Windows 8’s additional security features (one example is IE10’s do not track feature), this becomes a crucial deciding factor for employees and executives who consume and handle sensitive information on their tablets. Hence, there is a possible shift in terms of needs and features. But nevertheless, there are still dies-hard Apple fans who we know will never shift.
