Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 crashes in Virtual Desktop Interface

My Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 crashes every time I start it on my Virtual Desktop Interface. It displays an error message in german, which roughly translates to “The program no longer works”. Can someone provide a solution?

Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 crashes in Virtual Desktop Interface

If your Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003 is already not working, try removing it from the Microsoft Office 2003 package. When this feature is completely removed, try checking your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. Then after doing this install this feature again from Microsoft Office 2003 package.

But before doing this be sure that your virtual machine is running on the correct operating system or else it’s still useless reinstalling it. Microsoft Office 2003 supports Windows Server 2003 or later, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or later, Windows XP or later, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008.

If your virtual machine is running on a different operating system and not with any of these platforms, you should replace it with one of these operating systems to make it work again.
