Microsoft office 2010 Beta error messages

Hi experts

When I want to open a Microsoft Office 2010 application, I get the following message:
“Your beta software has expired.

Use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel to remove the beta software from your computer.” I need a solution.

Please help.

Microsoft office 2010 Beta error messages

The reason for this error is that your beta version of application has expired. According to official announcement, the Office 2010 application of version beta 1 and version beta 2 has expired on October 31, 2010 and November 1, 2010 respectively. To solve the error, you have to uninstall the beta version and install the release version. 

 

If your machine is running on Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista with SP, and Windows 7, then you shall follow these steps.

1. Select Start  > Control Panel  > Programs  > Programs and Features.
2. You will find the current list of all installed programs. 
3. Choose Office 2010 beta version, and click Uninstall.
4. You will be asked if you want to remove the program. Click Yes.
5. Restart the computer after the removal.

 

If your machine is running on Windows XP with SP 3 or Windows Server 2003 R2, then you shall follow these steps.

1. Select Start  > Control Panel  > Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2. You will find the current list of all installed programs. 
3. Choose Office 2010 beta version, and click Remove.
4. You will be asked if you want to remove the program. Click Yes.
5. Restart the computer after the removal.

Office 2010 release version shall be installed after the un-installation of beta version. Hope this will be helpful.

Hey Adolfo brown!

Here is a simple solution for you. I am not sure which windows you are using but i will show you the steps for Windows 7 and windows XP.

Let us start with Windows 7 or Windows Vista. Follow these steps.

1. Click on start menu and go to control panel.

2. Double click on Programs and Features.

3. It will show you the list of all the installed programs.

4. Find here MS office beta version and click on Uninstall.

5. It will completely uninstall the MS office Beat Version.

6. Restart your windows and you will not face this error message again.

7. Now Download the latest release of MS office 2010 from the internet and install it on your PC.

For windows XP or Windows Server:

1. Click on start menu and go to control panel.

2. Open Add Remove programs in control panel.

3. It will show you the list of installed programs, find here MS office 2010 Beta and click on uninstall or remove button.

4. After that you have to restart your computer.

Now install the latest release of MS Office 2010.
