Hello,

I have a domain name with my Microsoft Office and want to move from one account to another. When I click on “delete” the error message shows somewhat it is allotted to this domain even there is nothing in this domain. Would you please help me to find the possible solutions?

Thanks.

Microsoft Lync Account – Domain error while removing

Hi Darrell,

This can be caused by having the user account or group be associated with the domain. The proxies that you have used to the domain for mail licensed users or groups may haven’t been removed. Microsoft Lync may block the domain deletion not unless you remove the proxies first. The Lync Online Session Initiation Protocol addresses may be using the domain. You need to check the usernames that contains the domain name. Check their email addresses as well, find all the mailboxes of the user that you wanted to remove from the domain. If all else fails, then you may need to remove the Lync Online license.
