I have a project I created in MS Project 2007 that is linked in a resource pool. I was able to successfully connect the plan and save the resource pool but the problem is, I can no longer save the project and I get this error:

error saving shared resource pool

What can be causing this error and how can I fix it?

Error Saving in Resource Pool

Hello Jobert,

As far that I am concerned, I did not accept to think that there was such an error in MS Project 2007. You must always have to think about the File Corruption in linking master files or resource pools. Shatter the link to the pool from all sharing projects then re-link it to a new blank resource pool if you have ever over-written a linked project, renamed it or moved a file, or the files are accessed over a WAN then you may well have file corruption. Do not rename, do not move, and do not "save off" any of the files in the arrangement. Once you have everything rebuilt, you should be able to live out of trouble if you adhere to the good practice "rules" for linked structures.

I hope this helps.
