Micro SD Card Error: Files Deleted Successfully, NO!!!

I have connected a Micro SD Card to my PC and my PC currently has Ubuntu installed in it. When I formatted the SD Card, the OS provided me a message:

"Files deleted successfully."

However, many files haven't been deleted from the SD Card. What may have caused this error? How to fix this error?

This is a strange problem, You can try a partition editor called, Gparted, It is free, You can download it from here, After installation, Open Gparted and select your SD card.

You should unmount the SD card first, So right click and select unmount.

After this, You can format the SD card, So right click the SD card again, And select format, This will show you which tyoe you want to format it to, Select the desired one.

The SD card should be Formatted by now.
