Messages like iPhone or iPad for Android

Hey there,

Is there an equivalent of Messages for Android?  I found that to be very useful on the iPad2.  Now, I've got a Galaxy tab.  Is there an app that can be used to send messages or sms/text to other Androids and iPhones?

Yes, there are so many free applications that offer free sms/text messages that you can use just by downloading this applications and installed it on your iPhone or android phone.
