Hello Tyrone!

There is a way to easily transfer and merge existing file to your external drives by selecting all the files you want to transfer then drag and drop it in where you want it to transfer. After releasing the files, a prompt will appear on your screen like the image bellow:

Just choose "Merge" and wait until the transferring is done.

If you're going to transfer large file about 1GB and above it needs a lot of time on transferring files, that is normal, just close all the open applications so it will not interrupt the transferring process.

The easiest way you can merge and transfer the folder

When you will copy some folder with the same name on the same location as another folder the windows will prompt you to merge two folders. At that time what you have to do

You have to rename one folder to the same name and as the other to generate the merge process.

Then you will get prompted to replace any files or you can get subdirectories that have the same name but will see at the end you will have only single merge folder.
