Hey, the steps for windows 8.1 home to pro upgrade is as follows:

• First make sure the systems is plugged and is connected to the internet as well
• Now go to the settings > change PC settings
• Now click for the update and the recovery options
• Next click for the windows update
• Now click for the check now of the OS version.
• If there is an update present update it or just view the details.
• Next update the KB 2919354 and install the same.
• Lastly when the installation will be complete restart the PC to get its effects.
