Malwarebytes fails to scan the computer with this error

Hi there,

This error occurs when I want to use Malwarebytes for my Windows 7. Everything on my PC is up to date and I expected that everything will work properly. Can anyone help me please to solve this error ? What is happening with my PC?

Malwarebytes fails to scan the computer with this error

It’s only a minor problem. Reinstalling the program should fix the issue. This is usually caused by corrupted files and I also get this from time to time with my Norton Internet Security. Uninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware then restart the computer. Next, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools then select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C then click OK.

Check “Temporary files” and Setup Log Files, click OK then click Delete Files. Restart the computer again then install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. See if this fixes the problem. Also, make sure you are using the latest version. Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2. It requires Windows XP x86 only, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 both x86 and x64.
