Malwarebytes error – Looking for Solution

Hello community,

A friend of mine suggested me to install Malware bytes Antivirus AO.

I installed it just yesterday and for the very first time. Before starting the scan by using this new program, I thoroughly checked if there are any updates available.

Now when I started the updating process, the program showed me the following error and was completely shut off:

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team.

Error code: 732 (0,0)


I don’t know what does this mean? Does anyone have a clue of what to do to get rid of the error. My friend is using this, but he never got an error.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Here’s the solution to your problem. Click this link.

It will download a malware bytes anti-virus removal program.

Run the program and then allow your computer to restart.

After that temporarily disable your anti-virus and install the latest version of the program:

Then reactivate the program using your license.

  1. The Error 732 means there in a problem while connecting to internet.
  2. It could be proxy setting or Firewall or some virus blocking access to internet.
  3. Check your proxy setting if you are using any proxy
  4. Check Windows firewall, any antivirus or some other software blocking access like internet download manager.
  5. Download the latest version of Malawarebytes and SCAN YOUR SYSTEM FIRST then update Malawarebytes.
