Mail was unable to open the URL

Hello,

I am using Mac OS and getting the error message saying “Mail was unable to open the URL” whenever I click a link within an email body. Have any idea to fix this annoying error message?

I need your suggestion.

Hello Adolph!

From what you're describing, I think this error is due to a problem with the Launch Services.

Depending on what kind of Mac you're using, you can find here in this article how to exactly reset these services in order to solve your problem and the required steps.

Another possible cause of this error might be your cache data. If so, you should clean your cache either manually, or using a special tool, like the Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner, specially designed for Mac.

Remember to restart your computer after every change you make and then try again to see if the error is still there.
