Lotus view selection formula problem

I have a condition to accomplish such as fixed complex look for on lotus Notes. I should provide a scheme for the customer to sift the analysis rooted on the explored criterion they supplied on run time to user. The difficulty is the nonappearance of up market right of entry so I cannot utilize “view selection formula”. Can you recommend with imparting several explanations?

Lotus view selection formula problem

Hello Ryan Harold,

If you are trying  to use the view selection formula in lotus notes, then it is important for you to know that you can only use to the documents which will be included in a view, and the view will ne entirely based in the data that is the lotus document that you are using, and it will not matter whether it has its parent in the same view too. So basically, it will not be possible for you to choose only those documents that have no responses.

What I can advise that you do however is that you will need to write a server agent which will then scan for all the documents that will meet your requirements, and thereafter a field value will be set in those documents.
