Lost all my contacts in my address book

Hey There! I have lost all my contacts in my address book on my Outlook. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. I also get an error message that says my address book is corrupt and cannot be used. I also received error message whenever I send message saying outlook express is configured improperly and needs to be reinstalled. Please help guide me what to do.

Lost all my contacts in my address book

Hi Miguel,

You probably have removed some file from installation directory including your address book or you got attacked by a virus.

Please follow the steps carefully,

– Run an antivirus. MSE or Windows Defender from Microsoft will do.

– Click full scan and do the recommended action.

If there is no virus infection,

– Go to control panel

– Click 'Program and Features'

– Choose 'Uninstall a program'

– Select Microsoft outlook from the list of programs.

– Right click and choose repair.

– Wait until it finishes repairing.
