I am looking for Avast antivirus update file links to update the software on my PC as I think it is skipping some harmful files which should have been detected. Please help.

Generally antivirus software like Avast and all update automatically and that too in a daily basis to keep up to date with the virus database in order to protect your pc from new threats. But it is possible that due to some reason it is not downloading the updates itself.

Looking For Avast Antivirus Update File Link

If you are using Avast antivirus, updating it is not a problem because it updates itself automatically when your computer is connected to the internet and automatically checks for updates every four hours just like with ESET Smart Security which regularly checks for updates multiple times a day. But if you cannot connect to the internet all the time, Avast offers an offline update.

You simply need to download the file according to your current version of the Avast antivirus and run the update file. Visit Avast Download Updates and download the update according to your version. You don’t need to reinstall the antivirus. The update file will only update the virus signature database of Avast antivirus.

If you are not using the latest version, you can also download the latest free Avast Antivirus. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. It requires 256 MB RAM and 1.5 GB free space.
