Hello, Themes are a combination of colors, effects, and fonts which can be applied to the presentation. MS PowerPoint provides various built-in themes which can be used for preparing the presentation.

Below is the sample image of various slide themes and their layouts:

How to apply the themes?

  • Go to Design Tab, which is beside the insert tab.
  • Each image under the themes group is a theme.
  • Click on the dropdown menu for more themes.

Move the cursor over the theme to see the live preview. The names also appear while moving the cursor on it.

 
  • Click on the theme to apply it or to use it.
