Likely problem of Samsung 8500 RealPlayer with some file formats

What are the likely problems with my Samsung 8500 real player which refuses to play file formats of .avi and .flv, and do I require to add any plug-ins for the player to be fully functional with diverse file formats?

Hi,

Yes you can play avi files. But you need to upgrade firmware on your device. Then try it again. If not solve the problem you have to convert these avi files. I will give you a converter which can convert avi files. Make sure when you convert the file change the resolution to 320×240 or 176×144.
