Hello All,

I have a problem in LibreOffice 3.6 installation at my work place. We have like five systems in a network, when I try to install libreoffice 3.6 it is throwing me error. Only one system is upgrading to LibreOffice 3.6 and I have the old version too. What might be the problem? I cannot keep both versions? Help is appreciated.

Please exit LibreOffice 3.3 and the LibreOffice 3.3 Quickstarter before you continue. If you are using a multi-user system, also make sure that no other user has LibreOffice 3.3 open.

This can happen if LibreOffice is installed on a server and one or more users are connected and using one of LibreOffice’s applications. If you are updating LibreOffice on a server, check and verify that no user is using a LibreOffice application. You won’t be able to update to the new version until all instances of LibreOffice applications are closed.

If there are users connected to the server, notify them to save their work and close any LibreOffice application if they are using it. Once all instances are closed, you may start updating the program. If you haven’t updated yet, download the latest version. Head down to the LibreOffice Download page and download the latest.

The latest version at the moment is LibreOffice 6.4.1. It supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2012. It requires Intel Pentium 3 or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, 1.5 GB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution. For Macintosh, it supports OS X 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan, 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra, 10.14 Mojave, and 10.15 Catalina.

It requires an Intel processor, 512 MB RAM, 800 MB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.
