LG G2 proximity sensor problem

Hi there,

I have a LG G2 phone and am experiencing problems when making calls, if the device touches my ear, it is putting the call on hold, the proximity sensor is supposed to switch the screen off whenever am on a call and the device is very close to my ear, is there any way I can correct this?

LG G2 proximity sensor problem

Hi !

First make sure that your phone don't have any dust on frontal part, if it has clean it using compressed air. If it's not working and you have a plastic folio you will have to remove it or cut it a little bit more around the front speaker. In the last it might be a software problem which doesn't allow the phone to work with some basic settings and reinstall a clean new Android OS, or try to reset your phone to the factory settings
