Hi, truly attackers and hackers are a very real, and hazardous threat in modern times. ARP Cache Poisoning or Address Resolution Protocol Cache Poisoning is a type of attack on computers or ethernet LAN. In this attack, an attacker attacks your computer and changes its MAC (Media Access Control) Address along with its Ethernet LAN thus, changes its Address Resolution Protocol Cache with the help of false ARP request-packets.
As the ARP cache is false, it sends the attacked computer’s data and information to the attacker’s computer. The flowchart depicts the flow of data when an attacker attacks a computer through ARP Cache Poisoning.
