You could have a single port as KVM and you can just attach the primary monitor on it, and connect the other monitor to the computer directly. The laptop display will be seen when you switch to the laptop, but the only difference would be that the other laptop or monitor won’t go dark when you switch among computers, you'll still be able to see your desktop on the second monitor.

Or, the other option is you could buy two KVM switches. If only you could afford that much.
