Hello, as I am a new user to Avaya Programming. I just bought a phone. Please tell me how I can reset and clear Avaya 9608 IP Phone settings?
Follow the following steps to reset Avaya 9608 IP Phone. Maybe you may need to erase the IP address or may have to try changing the extension of the phone. It applies to 9608 and 9611.
Step 1: You should reboot your phone.
Step 2: As the phone is starting up. Press the * button when it prompts.
Step 3: Press mute and then type in 27238 #
Step 4: You will be able to see a menu, scroll down to Clear and then press start
Step 5: Now you will able to see “Press clear again to confirm”. Click on it.
Step 6: You would be able to see “Clearing Values” and it will restart the phone which will reboot back up in factory default.
