I have a DV-Cam linked via Firewire. When I try to run DAVID Laser scanner the cam displays in the drop-down-menu. Â However I found the following exception. Can you give me in the exact way where this error message is coming from? Please help. Thanks.
(I have installed NET 2.0 and cam is reachable by windows)
Try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities, Norton SystemWorks, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit.
If you are still having problems using the scanner after checking your computer for errors, try uninstalling the scanner’s driver and software and then install it back. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and it will restore its settings back to default including some that you might have customized.
If uninstalling and reinstalling the scanner’s driver didn’t work, try uninstalling the firewire card’s driver in the Device Manager and then install it back and see if it works this time.
