Laptop upgrade not helping improve gaming

Am a gamer and I want to increase my laptop gaming power. To do this, I decided to buy a Razer laptop to replace my windows 8.1 Asus that was lagging most of the time. I’m disappointed to find out that my new PC still functions like the previous one! Does a touch screen affect quality of gaming? My PC is 4 GB, can I upgrade the RAM to 16 GB to attain high functionality?

Laptop upgrade not helping improve gaming

High gaming functionality is not only achieved by upgrading the RAM of the machine. It depends on various factors i.e processor speed, graphics card performance and as well as the hard disk. To reduce lagging, try upgrading your processor and your graphics card. A high performance processor would be a core i3, i5 or i7.
