Laptop overheats and now the performance is slow

I'm using a Compaq laptop. It overheats so quickly and now the performance is slow. What can I do? It doesn't have much applications as well.

Laptop overheats and now the performance is slow

Hi Rochelle,

Compaq laptops are prone to overheating because of its build. Exhaust fan is small thus making your laptop hot which is dangerous because it affects your overall performance basically your video adapter which is attached to your motherboard.
And it also makes your hard disk hot , which is dangerous because it is where you save your files.
I'll give you some pointers to prevent laptop failure.

1. Clean you internal cooling.

Clean the fan that provides cooling to the CPU and the video adapter. Read your laptop's manual how to clean your laptop's fan.

2. Keep laptop on a flat surface.

If your laptop sits on an uneven surface like a blanket, pillow, or your lap, the flow of air into the laptop is blocked. Therefore making it hot.

3. Buy a laptop cooler.

Investing a good cooler can make a difference. Make sure the size of the cooler is perfect for your laptop.

Hi. 

This is a common Problem for laptop users and Its easy to fix. Don't Try to open your laptop case and Your warranty will be Cancel. So try a sucking vacuum cleaner and remove dust. 

Then try a Laptop cooling pad and introducing new vacuum cooling system. Simply search on eBay. easy to find out.
