Know how the Snipping Tool for Windows 7 works?
Hello. The Microsoft Windows screenshot feature that included in Windows Vista and Later is known as Snipping Tool. Type “snipping tool” into the search box. Above the search box, the Snipping Tool will show up in the Programs list. After clicking on it, you can move it to an edge of the screen.
The Snipping Tool will assume that you want to create a new clipping.
- Firstly, the screen will go dim, and to copy, drag the cursor to select an area. After dragging, the selected area will become darker.
- The captured area will open in the Snipping Tool, after releasing the mouse button. Now, press the second button tosavethe screenshot (as an image file). See the tips below for file format suggestions.
