Keeps on showing “still running” with Toshiba Qosmio X70-B-10T

It keeps on showing me that an application is still running and we have to wait before it turns off. Is there any way that I can resolve this problem? What are the cause of this issue? Is there any alternative way that we can do to permanently resolve this? What are the things that I need to remember and do to avoid this from happening again? Is there any software that I can download to avoid this? Please give instructions on how to upgrade this laptop's hardware and what are the guidelines in doing the process.

Hello,

Such problem isn’t impossible if you run lots of programs and then try to close. The programs that run are needed to be terminated before the system shuts down and so you’re seeing this message. It's the best not to do anything regarding this action because some software takes time to be terminated and so, Windows shows up the message.

When shutting down, there’ll be the name of the application that is being closed. Just uninstall the application and this problem will go on.

This isn’t any problem but will take time to turn off the system. Try running any good PC tune-up utility, like CCleaner, WinOptimizer etc. They’ll improve your system performance and thus, speed up your machine’s shutting down speed.
