KBD EXE has stopped working

Hi guys,

Have a look at the screenshot below. I am receiving this awful error message frequently on My Windows Vista OS.

However, closing the program does not create any irregularities. I want to get a remedy from this problem.

Have you any idea?

Please help me to solve it.

KBD EXE has stopped working

Hi Friend,

Reinstalling it and updating it might be the recommended option. KBD.exe is a software used by Hp and Compaq keyboards were extra software included in Windows which regulate some functions for email, Volumes and many others.

First download the driver, for Vista desktop in 32 bit, for Vista TouchSmart in 64 bit. 

Then, run the installer. Lastly, restart your computer.

KBD EXE has stopped working

KBD.exe software is controlling the additional Keyboard features such as volume controllers, other special characters, E-mail, Internet Explorer, WiFi & other language keys etc.

This error can be occurred due to several reasons such as unfinished installation setup, a partial file deletion, bad deletion of software, components or computer virus inflected to your system.

Best thing to solve this problem is re-install the drivers. It is better go to your computer hardware manufactures website and find the required kbd.exe file compatible to vista.
