KB2446708 does not apply error

When I was using my computer today I got a pop up from my task bar saying that I have an update from Microsoft.

So I clicked it and got redirected to the automatic updates page, but when I tried to update it, I got this error:

KB2446708 does not apply error

Hi Christian,

This is a security update that resolves issues with remote code execution in the client system. You may visit the following web link for more details regarding the update:

To install the update on the computer, you should have Windows Installer 3.1 or a later version installed in it.

Windows Installer 4.5 is available for download from the following web link:

• http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/default.aspx

To determine the version of Windows Installer, visit:

• https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa368280(v=vs.85).aspx

The update is automatically downloaded on those computers which has automatic update enabled. It is also available for download from this Microsoft website.
