Hi,

There could be several reasons:

1. Make sure you don't have another antivirus installed in your system.

2. Make sure you are not trying to reinstall the Kaspersky's trial version again after the trial has finished once.

3. Make sure you are installing the software as an administrator.

4. Make sure you have the latest service pack of Windows installed in your system.

5. Finally if all the above points go negative then please refer to the Kaspersky support; they will give you a solution and make the software install. Find the link below for the Kaspersky support:

Before downloading or installing Kaspersky Internet Security, check that your computer meets the requirements. The latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It requires 1 GHz or faster processor, 1 GB RAM for 32-bit and 2 GB RAM for 64-bit, and internet connection for updating the virus signature database.

Supported web browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10, and 11; Microsoft Edge; Mozilla Firefox 52 to 59; Mozilla Firefox 52.x ESR; and Google Chrome 48 to 64. Now, if the version you installed does not work after installation, check if the product is activated and the subscription period is not yet expired.

If you try to activate it with a license key from an expired subscription, Kaspersky will not work. On the other hand, if the product was previously installed and you tried to reinstall it to probably renew the subscription, it will not work. To download it again, go to Kaspersky Internet Security. You can try the free 30-day trial period.
