Hello,

I have installed Windows XP 64bit and trying to install K-Lite Codec pack but an error message occurs at the end of the installation. How can I get the resolution to fix this problem? You can see the whole error image attached below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Leland, K-Lite has apparently not included the ffdshow codec in the 64 bit version, leading to the error. You could wait for an update to fix this, but I'd suggest you get the codec manually  from here. Once you do it,

1. Don't close the installer. Go into Programs and see where K-Lite is installing its files.

2. Paste the codec file there, and click retry. Ideally it should accept and continue installation.

3. If it doesn't, simply hit ignore and continue the installation. Files requiring the codec will run without any issues.

4. If nothing happens, get VLC Media Player.
