Is it possible to have a video conference? What application is used and what is the maximum number of people who can participate?

Is it possible to have a video conference?

Yes it is possible to have a video conference. For that you will have to install some software which supports Video conferencing. The most commonly used are "Skype" & "ooVoo"

These software's are completely free to use. ooVoo can even allow you to make a conference call with up to 12 people at one time. These software's don’t charge you even a bit. You can also install these software's into your cell phone (depending upon whether your cell phone supports this software or not) and can even make video calls using your cell phone through WiFi for free

Is it possible to have a video conference?

Yes! it's possible. There's so many software that can make a video conference but the most common is the Skype. Video conferencing is possible with Skype. You can also have a video conference call on Skype with your loved ones. To sum it up, to make a Skype conference call you will need a Skype account, and headphones with microphone to make an audio call. If you want to make a video call, then you will need a webcam as well.

Using the skype conference call facility, you can have more than just a 3 way conference call on Skype. 25 people can communicate with each other simultaneously. In other words, 1 caller and 24 other people, he has called. It is with this facility of Skype, society boards, committees, project teams and for that matter family members have a free of cost way of collaborating with each other. One does not have to really be worried about the amount of time, one can talk and can talk for as much as one wants.
