It has been a couple of days that I have encountered an error message with Outlook Express and mail server. We are working with three clients who uses Outlook with various versions. It generated an error message concerning to SSL, though SSL has no significance with this concern.

In addition to this, even if it is the requirements, SSL is configured by default. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you.

Kindly refer below screenshot of the error message; when I clicked on View Certificate button, it resulted with another error message.

This is an issue of an invalid security certificate that is either has or already expired or is really invalid because it is issued to a different site.

This depends on which end is using the invalid security certificate.

If the problem is from your side, try checking the validity of the security certificate that your system is using. Maybe it’s only expired or somebody has intentionally tampered the security certificate’s contents and replaced it with a different one that is issued to a different domain.

If the security certificate is only expired, you only need to renew it to fix this problem.

If the problem is not from your end and it only happens just now and that you haven’t encountered this kind of problem before with that site, just click on the Yes button to proceed with the task.
