Hi Guys,
While using Internet Explorer to save an image, Internet Explorer save bmp instead of jpg image, even though the image is in jpg format, it is giving me the option to save the image as bmp alone. Please advice on how do I fix this issue.

The error may occur because if the temporary internet cache is full or due to incomplete internet settings.
There are multiple solutions to resolve this error.
Solution 1: Delete all temporary internet files.
1) Click 'Start', Click 'Internet Explorer'
2) Click 'Tools' button, click 'Internet Options'
3) Click in 'General' tab, under 'browsing history', Click 'Settings'
4) In the 'Temporary Internet files and history settings' dialog box, click 'View files'
5) Select all the files present and delete them
Solution 2: Delete saved encrypted pages
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Click 'Tools', Click 'Internet Options'
3) Click 'Advanced' tab
4) Go to 'Security' tab
5) Select 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk' option
6) Click 'OK'
Solution 3: Change in the Personal settings
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Click 'Tools', Click 'Internet Options'
3) Click 'Advanced' tab
4) Click 'Reset' button
5) Check 'Delete Personal Settings' checkbox
6) Click Reset and restart Internet Explorer
