Internet Explorer Has stopped working

hi there,

I have a question related to my internet explorer, its not working at all. i have reinstalled it but same problem. it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".

now what do i have to do to solve the issue. thanks.

Hi Ayishali,

The solution to your problem is that you should clear the cookies and run a registry scan, if it does not help then you should try doing a virus scan, then a scan and defrag. If you are using an old version of IE then you should get a newer or the latest version i.e. (Internet Explorer 9). Please also check if too many toolbars are plugged into your browser, if yes then you should remove them and have only those you require the most. If that still doesn't work, you should either repair or reinstall IE. By following the directions at:

Dear Ayishali,

                         If the browser is totally stuck and is not working then you can install a new updated version form net for free. But if you have problem visiting any website then you can run a full virus scan to your computer. Also you can check the earlier configuration you made to net connections you can undo it to solve your problem. You can go to internet settings and change all settings to their default levels. It will help you to restore any configurations you made earlier. If the problem remains then check the registry values of your PC check the connection you are using and also the net services you are using.

After you have check all the configurations now restart your computer and i hope it will work fine this time.
