I am using Mac book with a Snow Leopard installed. Everytime I connect it, the connection slow down on Mac Internet. I have an internet connection of 30mb. Can you help me what's the problem? Do I need to do any configuration in my Mac book? Please help me. Thank you.
Yes, you need to configure you TCP/IP of you machine so that your connection to the internet is not limited. You need also to configure its PPP tab and the modem tab. Then reboot you machine to apply those configurations in your system. When the IC is done or the Internet Config is done you have now an unlimited connection to the internet.

Check the modem or router on the network configuration. Access it by typing your IP address to your browser.
Go to System preference and then click Network from the Internet and Wireless panel to view the basic status of you connection.
Click the Advance Button.
In the hardware section it will set to be configured automatically.
