Internal error of HD !

Hello Everybody,

I'm using HP laptop. 

Configuration:

500 GB HAR DISK

3 GB RAM

Core i3, 3.1 GHz processor.

I've used this for 1 year without any error. But nowadays when i start my laptop, an error occurs says that " Internal HDD error".

What should i do now ? Any tips?

Internal error of HD !

Hi,

To solve your internal HDD error you can go through the following:

1. Right click the hard disk drive and select properties.

2. Click the Tools tab→Error Checking→Check Now. If it requires Administrative Password or Confirmation, insert your password or submit confirmation.

3. Select Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

4. Click Start.

It will take several minutes depending on your hard disk size.

However, you are suggested not to run any program or task during checking.

Internal error of HD !

Hi Daniel,

Try to check your HDD if the bios can still recognize it. Start up your laptop, press F1 or F2 or DEL during post.

Check if there’s internal HDD detected. If not, there’s a chance that your HDD already damaged.

You need a new hard disk to solve the problem. Replace your HDD and try to run your laptop again.
