Hi,

I was creating an Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR) disk image through the IDR preparation wizard, when these errors have occurred:

Cannot open the file. <E:Program Files SymamtecBackup ExecIDRDisk4idr.sif>.

System Error Msg: The system cannot find the file specified.

OK

Could anyone please assist me how to go about this problem?

Thanks a lot.

What about the antivirus shield, is it set for the repair file or delete it?

The disaster recovery systems are creating problems with the mechanism dramatically when a part of the executable component, means somehow a file is somewhere missing. This happens because

1.       The antivirus shield has deleted the file as the file was infected or may it have repaired it or removed to quarantine.

2.       The second case is that the file is removed by a malware like a virus or some other software.

3.       The third is that the specified folder does not have access privileges.

Unlock all the above possibilities and then try reusing it. If all fails install it again and then try.
