Europe is awaiting the release of its first Intel based smart phone Orange San Diego, which was previously code named.

A as the Santa Clara. The phone which is planned to be released on June 6th In the UK is the first phone to have an Intel Atom Z2460 processor.

The newbie runs only on Android 2.3 and costs just £199.99.

• When will this phone, produced by Huawei, reaches India?
•  Does San Diego have a graphics card? Does this phone support High End games?

Intel has launched its first mobile in India in association with local manufacturer Lava. The name of this model is XOLO X900. X900 has the same specs as of San Diego launched in UK by Intel. Its features are, 4.03-inch display, 8 megapixel camera, HD video recording, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage space with an Atom processor of 1.6 GHz.

Unfortunately, the phone will be sold with Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch, although an Android 4.0 update is already in the works. Intel San Diego is also capable of high end games. One of the largest mobile game publishers, Gameloft, has agreed to publish games on Intel Smartphones. The following games are being designed for Intel phones:

1. Asphalt 6.

2. Adrenaline.

3. Modern Combat 2.

4. Black Pegasus.

5. Uno.
