Installing updates for Social Media and Networking in Outlook 2010?

Hi! I tried several times but I just can’t install the updates for Social Media and Networking that comes within Outlook 2010, because every time I get the error message “The expected version of the product was not found on the system”, and the installation is never completed. Can anyone please tell me how to deal with this issue?

Installing updates for Social Media and Networking in Outlook 2010?

Hallo Erlinda,

The error may be occurring during the update process of the social media and networking sites that you use in your outlook because you are updating from the wrong site. Try getting the updates from the Microsoft’s site and see if that will work fine for you.

The error may be also as a result of installing the updates that belong to a different version of outlook as opposed to the one you have outlook service pack 2, make sure that the updates you are trying to install suit that version of outlook otherwise they might be the cause of the problem.
