Installation error with my Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software NVivo

Hi,

The problem is with my Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software NVivo.

 

While fixing the installation I received an error message. It could not initialize the database component.

 

If you have any idea for the issue, please help.

Database component did not initialize.

Installation error with my Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software NVivo

 

Hi,

If NVivo has formerly worked on your system, please start again your computer to solve the error. If NVivo has no account working on your computer or resuming hasn’t solved the problem, it may be connected to MS SQL Server 2008 which is NVivo uses as the database component. Users may occurrence this problem after installing and downloading definite Windows updates.

Installation error with my Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software NVivo

 

I had bad experiences with NVivo. I have used now QDA Miner for many years and I'm very satisfied.
