Hello, experts, I want to install Microsoft office 2003 setup on my system. I have the installation CD. Kindly guide me through the steps of the setting up.
1. To install, insert the CD into the drive. When the CD will load. A screen will appear.
2. Insert the 25-digit product key when prompted. Hit the next button.
3. Enter the credentials like Username, password, and organization information. When the insertion is complete choose next button.
4. Accept the terms and condition license agreement. Check on the “I agree…” checkbox and select next button.
5. The next screen will prompt you to install the package. Four options will provide: Typical, Complete, Minimal and Custom. Go with the “Finish install” option and hit on next.
6. The summary window will appear. Click on the install button. It will install the Microsoft Office 2003.
7. During the installation process the green bar or say progress bar will show the speed of the installation process.
8. The installer will inform you the when the installation will complete.
9. Click on the Finish button to finish up the installation.
If you have a setup CD of Microsoft Office 2003, before you install it, make sure your computer meets the requirements. For Office 2003, it supports Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, or higher. It requires 300 MHz or faster processor, 128 MB RAM, 400 MB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.
Now, to install it on your computer, just insert the setup CD on the optical drive and wait for the disc to autoplay. When the setup dialog appears, follow the instructions. When you are prompted to enter the product ID, you will be required to enter here the product ID or the license code for your Office 2003.
Since you have the setup CD, you should find it printed on the CD itself. If you don’t have your product ID yet, you need to purchase one. After entering the codes, click “Next.” On the installation options of Office 2003, you can select which Microsoft Office applications you want to install. By default, setup installs all the applications on your computer.
When setup begins installing the applications, just wait until it is complete.
