Install Exchange 2007 in Windows 2008 SP2 in a Windows 2003

Is there a way to retrieve a program I previously have on my computer prior to another program installation? I tried to install Exchange 2007 in Windows 2008 SP2 in a Windows 2003 environment where I change the 2003 SPs installed on the sole DC.

However when I tried to run “Prepare Schema” and “Prepare AD,” I received an error prompt appeared on my screen.

It said, “Extending Active Directory Schema in progress…… FAILED Active Directory operation failed on mail.mydomain.com.jo. This error is not retrievable. Additional information: The parameter is incorrect. Active directory response: 00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C090A85, comment:

Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, vece.”

Hi there Willie Stout

I have read your question and as I understood I think the net. Framework is missing or needed to be updated in your PC. Follow these steps to update or install net. Framework

1st go to Microsoft official site

2nd Find the latest update of Net. Framework

3rd download and install it

Best of luck

Taylor B Campos,

Thank You

Hi, Read your concerns and i have found one solution, errors occured when server cannot find atleast one DC runs in Windows Server 2003 at service pack 1, later domain which are DC=DCName, or DC=com. That would result of moving the domain controller objects in an active directory. Checked if there is one Domain Controller which runs in Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 also in later domain which is located in the (Domain Controllers) organizational Unit then rerun setup. good luck Thoma
