I receive error message at the time of using OUTLOOK. Why is that? Can any one tell me how to fix this issue also. I am seeing this one for the first time.

Do the following:

Open Outlook Express and click on "Tools" and "Accounts".

Click "Mail account" on the error. Then Click the "Properties".

Click on "Advance option " ensure the check boxes in front of "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" are unchecked. If checked please uncheck it and restart your Outlook Express again.

Please check now by sending a test email from that email account.

It looks to me that your issue has something to do with the settings you configured with your Outlook. Before anything else let me just share that outlook configuration differs on what Email Provider you are with. I.e. Yahoo, gmail etc.… We can help you narrow down what’s going if you can elaborate more on your issue. For now if the previous resolution did not work you may try the method below.

Increase the timeout setting gradually:Â
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
3. Click the Mail tab.
4. Click your POP3 account, and then click Properties.
5. Click the Advanced tab.
6. Gradually increase the server time-out setting until the problem is resolved.
