Hi there! I have been hearing a lot about the new SQL server 2012 by Microsoft. I am not much of a techno, but I am interested to know what is this SQL server 2012 and what is the speciality of this program. Thanks in advance.

This will enable greater uptime, boost performance and enhanced security features for mission critical workloads; Cloud on Your Own Terms by enabling the creation and extension of solutions across on-premises and public cloud. Breakthrough Insight with managed self-service data exploration and stunning interactive data visualizations capabilities.

This will comes in 3 editions called Enterprise for mission critical and applications data warehousing, Standard which offers basic database, reporting and analytics capabilities and the last is Business Intelligence for corporate business intelligence and Premium self service.
