Hello there everyone!

I have recently heard about the releases of the PilotEdit Lite 5.6.0 and am very enthusiastic to try it, but I am not sure about its reliability.

Can anyone tell me about how useful is it?

Please provide me the features available in the program.

PilotEdit 5.6.0 is a remarkable replacement of a notepad as it overcomes may restrictions. The key advantage of using this application is that it can edit text, HTML, Java, PHP and hex files larger than 50 GB.

Hi Janis,

PilotEdit is an editing tool that overcomes restrictions of a Notepad in order for the user to work faster and better. The primary advantage of using this application is that it can open 50 GB file size. And also, if you are using this application for website development, there is a built-in FTP client that can be sued to work with online file that has 4 GB in size. 

Also, there are no difference between the Lite version and Full version, but if you do spend some money on the application that you do gain extra features such as the ability to compare, encrypt and decrypt files as well as the option of working with SFTP for added security. This application is available for Windows XP, Vista (32 and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32 & 64 bits) and Windows 8 platforms.
