Hello there experts! I have heard that the Dell Vostro 3460 has been just released! Does it come up with a windows 8 operating system? Hello Neil,

The new Dell Vostro 3460 is not coming with windows 8, Dell is not attached the new version of windows OS. It is coming with either windows 7 or Ubuntu 11.10, it's not a great news but that's what they say about it.

Dell Vostro 3460's price in India is not yet available, but its specification is available. Its main specifications are :

  • Available in either intel i3, i5, i7
  • RAM upto 3 GB DDR3
  • Intel HD graphics card 4000
  • 14' inch dysplay
  • Wi Fi 802.11
  • VGA, HDMI, USB 3.0
  • Weight 2.32 kg

And its unique features are

  • File and folder encryption
  • Dell Datasafe Online backup
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Quick recovery button

The Dell Vostro lineup is primarily devoted for the businesses with negligible or no IT assistance as stated by them. Dell Vostro 3460 is slated to be released on June 21st with the starting price $599 and will be obtainable at dell.com.

It features a 14-inch display along with the 3rd generation of Intel processors supported by 4GB DDR3 RAM, HD 1366 X 768 WLED Anti-glare display and 32 GB mSATA SSD and will have Windows 7 OS bundled.
